Invitations to a press conference at Apple’s Cupertino-based campus are flying around the tech world. The press conference would be held on Friday , July 16th. Apple has confirmed that the press conference is about iPhone, but what about iPhone?
I believe that it would be easy to guess that this press conference is definitely related to iPhone 4’s reception issue, popularly known as the death grip. The death grip issue causes iPhone 4 to loose reception and drop calls when the phone is held at the lower left corner. This issue has brought many questions in the mind of prospective buyers, while some consumer reports even went to the extent of recommending not to buy an iPhone 4.
Everyone has their eyes on what Apple solutions would it offer for solving the issue. Some analyst say that Apple might issue free iPhone cases which would keep the antenna gap from coming in contact with the skin. While some suggest that Apple should issue a complete product recall, which I am sure is not happening.
